Reserving a Car
General Requirements for Booking a Car
You must have a Swan account in order to book your rental or host a vehicle. If you do not have an account, sign up now with your email address, Google account or Facebook Account. You must meet our age requirements to book a reservation.
We require all users to provide: 1) Driver's License & Verification (within application), 2) home address, 3) account details/payment method, and a photo of themselves for their Swan Car App. Some users may be asked for additional photos and/or we may check personal and/or business credit report, background check, and auto insurance check. When you create an account, you give Swan Energy Pty Ltd written instructions and permission in the line with the Privacy Act 1988 or similar laws to obtain this information.
You'll be unable to book if you enter the same information (ex. email address, driver's license number, etc), as any other Swan user when creating your account or requesting as trip. Swan has the right to decline your trip request and remove you from the platform because of your auto insurance check, criminal background, driving record, or any other reason. If we've denied you access to Swan, find out whether you can resolve your problem reserving a vehicle at support@swanenergy.com.
Swan accepts licenses in Australia that are free of restrictions/ are not provisional. We do not take license that are considered international.
Swan Innovations LLC in Association with Swan Energy PTY LTD reserves the right to amend
change these terms and conditions from time to time, so you should check these terms and conditions regular.
Other Eligibility Criteria
To be a valid user of Swan Car sharing network, you must be:

At least 21 years old and no more than 80 years old.

License Free of restrictions/ and is not provisional (No P or L plates)

Have an eligible credit or debit cars with credit to cover your Damage and Loss Liability for the duration of the reservation.

Have a satisfactory credit history (we will do a credit check during your sign-up).

Required to have a Physical Drivers License( No digital license will be accepted as there is no way for us to verify the license. After Verification process if complete, an approved member may use their digital license where permitted by state laws.)
Damages
In the situation you are involved in a traffic violation or traffic incident while you are a member of Swan Innovations, Swan Energy, or Swan Car car share network, you are required to inform us about it. In the case of a damage claim, we will request a copy of your official driving record. In the event that the information provided on your driving history is incomplete or inaccurate you may not be covered.
